A new chapter in ultra-luxury at sea has been written. With the delivery of Four Seasons I by Fincantieri at its Ancona shipyard, we are proud to have contributed to a project that sets a new global benchmark in high-end hospitality.
Four Seasons I: A New Category of Luxury at Sea
The first cruise yacht built for Four Seasons Yachts was delivered on 25 February 2026 at the Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona, a historic moment for the ultra-luxury segment of international cruising. With a gross tonnage of 34,000, a length of 207 metres and only 95 suites, Four Seasons I offers 50% more living space per guest than any other cruise ship currently in service.
The design is conceived entirely as an all-suite residential experience, in which every space is intended to remove the barriers between guests and the sea. The Funnel Suite, the most exclusive accommodation on board, extends to 457 square metres of private indoor and outdoor space, placing it among the most exclusive residences ever built at sea.
Four Seasons I is also the first ship of Fincantieri’s Navis Sapiens programme — a new generation of smart ships with an integrated digital architecture based on artificial intelligence and real-time data, developed by Fincantieri Ingenium in collaboration with Accenture.
Our Contribution to the Project
In this highly complex and exacting setting, Chimento Design took part in building Four Seasons I by supplying loose furniture and custom solutions developed specifically for the project, working closely with the technical and design teams involved.
On a ship where every detail counts — quality of materials, visual consistency, reliable production and meeting deadlines — our team worked with the same rigour and attention to detail that has marked every Chimento Design project since the company was founded in 2010.
Ultra-Luxury and Italian Craftsmanship
Four Seasons I strikes a balance between technological innovation, shipbuilding expertise and residential design. Being part of a project that brings together a contemporary vision of hospitality, uncompromising quality standards and the most advanced environmental protection technologies strengthens the position of Chimento Design in the high-end cruise segment.
Our work in the international marine sector continues with the same philosophy: combining Italian craftsmanship with a global approach to turn ideas into reality, with precision and dedication.
The ship will set sail on her maiden voyage in the Mediterranean on 20 March 2026.
