2. Scope and acceptance
These terms govern access to and use of the website www.chimentodesign.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
3. Purpose of the Site
The Site presents Chimento Design, its services and its projects. It has an informational purpose only. No goods or services are sold through the Site, and its content is not a contractual offer or an offer to the public under Article 1336 of the Italian Civil Code. Any supply of services is governed exclusively by a separate written agreement between Chimento Design S.r.l. and the client.
4. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including texts, photographs, renderings, drawings, graphics, logos, layout and software, belong to Chimento Design S.r.l. or to its licensors and are protected by copyright, trade mark and design law, in particular Italian Law 633/1941 and Legislative Decree 30/2005.
You may view the Site and print or download pages for personal, non-commercial reference. Any other use, including reproduction, distribution, modification, publication or commercial exploitation of the content, requires our prior written consent.
5. Third-party trade marks
The names and logos of clients, partners, shipowners and shipyards shown on the Site belong to their respective owners. They are shown to describe our professional experience and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement beyond the collaboration described.
6. Permitted use
When using the Site you agree not to:
- use it in breach of any applicable law or of third-party rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or connected systems, or interfere with their operation;
- introduce malware or other harmful code;
- extract or reuse substantial parts of the content by automated means, without our prior written consent;
- send unlawful, offensive or unsolicited content through the contact form.
7. Accuracy of information
We take care to keep the content of the Site accurate and up to date. The content is nevertheless provided for general information: images and descriptions of projects are illustrative, and technical data, availability and timing are binding only if confirmed in a written agreement. We may change, suspend or withdraw the Site or any part of it at any time.

To the extent permitted by law, Chimento Design S.r.l. is not liable for damage arising from the use of the Site or from the inability to use it, from reliance on its content, or from interruptions, errors or viruses not attributable to us.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence (Art. 1229 Italian Civil Code), for death or personal injury, or in any other case where liability cannot be excluded or limited by law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory rights granted to you by the law of your country of residence are not affected.

We may amend these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date shown at the top. Changes apply from publication and do not affect rights already accrued.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute concerning the Site or these terms falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Genoa, Italy. If you are a consumer, the court of your place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction, and you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
