Case Study

240 cm Lux Sun Beds and Teak Dividers Woven by Hand in Italy.

Chimento Design created some of the most distinctive elements of the Magrodome, one of the most representative spaces aboard Explora III, the newest luxury ship of Explora Journeys. For this area we crafted bespoke 240 cm Lux Sun Beds and decorative teak dividers, entirely designed in-house and finished with a weave executed by hand in Italy, preceded by a dedicated feasibility study to ensure stability, precision and aesthetic continuity. The same woven teak language is reinterpreted across the curved counters and the decorative pillar beneath the staircase, shaping an environment where materials, forms and craftsmanship come together in a coherent and sophisticated identity.
